About the Author:

For the last nineteen years, Monette has been a lawyer practicing everything from criminal defense to probate. A regular Renaissance lawyer. More recently, she gave up trying to change the system and has concentrated her practice to being a professional neutral--which means she try to help people solve their problems before they go in front of a judge or jury. Her philosophy is if you can't work within the system -- find a better system.

Aiding and abetting her in her life's goal of changing the world is her Pathologist husband of twenty-eight years and teenage son who is trying hard to be cool right now. They also own two cats--or, more accurately, they own them. They're still trying to figure that one out.

A life-long Hoosier, Monette currently live in Carmel, Indiana, a suburb of Indianapolis.
