"Night
Demons "
Howard Hopkins
Deep
within the blood-drenched walls of an ancient mansion Nathan Courtwright
initiates a bizarre rite that will free every depraved soul since time
immemorial to prey upon the living and grant him eternal reign over the
legions of the damned. The price: the sacrifice of his beloved Catherine.
Halted on the verge of success, Nathan discovers the cost of failure is
far greater: living interment in the family mausoleum, his demon soul
consigned to a netherworld of torture and suffering for all eternity.
But when the mausoleum
is torn down to make way for a new drug rehabilitation center a century
later, the evil that was Nathan Courtwright escapes...an evil capable
of prying into its victims' deepest fears and blackest nightmares.
Haunted by images
of the past and frightening visions, Paul Stanford returns to the
fate-shrouded town of Dark Harbor, Maine--a town filled with sorrow
and dark memories. Within days he finds himself locked in a desperate
and terrifying struggle that spans a century-old feud and demonic
desires. The ancient horror, reborn and all-consuming, lures him
into its deadly web of deceit and lust and only he holds the key
to the door of the damned a key that will cost him the life of the
woman he loves and his very soul.
A key that will fill
the world with Night Demons...
Reviews
of Night Demons:
Dean
Koontz, move over. Stephen King, watch it, there's a new guy in town and
he's cutting in on your territory. And he's really, really good, too.
Night Demons is an
excellent book, pure horror, with a capital H, just as the masters of
this field write. It has the same attention to detail, the "nice
little things" that make the story flow. There is plenty of well-done
humor and characters that feel real, even minor ones whose lifespan is
tragically brief.

NIGHT DEMONS
is truly gripping! I have to say that this is my favorite book to
date by Mr. Hopkins. I'm a big Stephen King fan and I felt like
I was reading one of Mr. Kings books right from page one and all
the way to the end. From the very start of NIGHT DEMONS I felt the
same excited anticipation that only Stephen King has been able to
give me in a horror book.
Mr. Hopkins delighted
me with his visual detail and his excellent way
with words. He has written a great book of horror and suspense and
I loved every single minute of NIGHT DEMONS. I was so surprised
and absolutely thrilled while I was reading, to find that Mr. Hopkins
had surpassed himself. I didn't think it was possible.
If you love true horror,
the kind that really creeps you out and won't
let you read without all the lights on, then you will absolutely love
NIGHT DEMONS! I haven't been this frightened by a book in quite
a while and I loved it! Mr. Hopkins is a true master at scaring
the socks off you. He sure didn't hold back his imagination while
leading me through a hell of a terrifying ride. I've been an admirer
of Mr. Hopkins work for quite a while, but now I consider myself
one of his biggest fans. Grab NIGHT DEMONS if you sincerely want
the scare of your life!

5 Daggers
I cannot rave enough
about this book. It is such an absorbing story,
and so horrifying at the same time. If you are a horror fan, this book
will put all the others you have ever read on the back burner. If you
are not a horror fan, you will become a Howard Hopkins horror fan. I
know I have. NIGHT DEMONS is one book you have got to read. But
do not read it without all the lights on, the doors locked, and
the phone close by. Because you never know, the Demon may be very
near by.
