"Murder
of Dreams"
When
Rachel wrote a novel based on her sisters murder ten years earlier
as a catharsis for her pain, she had no idea it would be picked up as
a TV movie. She had no idea it would draw so much attention to her, or
that she would become victim to a pathological stalker.
She certainly didnt realize that both her sisters husband
Scott, the officer who investigated the murder, and Robert, the man convicted
for the crime, would converge on her hometown.
As the media spotlights the murder, Rachel is forced to deal with the
truth of the past. But with the stalker moving ever closer, will she be
able to escape the past before the past buries her forever?

Review:
With
the airing of the made for television movie version of her best-selling
novel, Murder of Dreams, Rachel unlocks the door to let out old demons.
Ten years ago, her sister and another woman were murdered and she was
left scarred for life by Robert Weeban, the man who is serving his sentence
for that crime. Afterwards, her brother-in-law, Scott, whom she always
loved, left town. Murder of Dreams was written to exorcise her pain over
the incident. Now, as both men see the movie, they each begin a journey
back to Rachel's life. Robert's escape immediately puts Rachel's life
in danger. Scott comes back to protect her, though he is upset at seeing
his life played out on the screen. Old feelings are still there, but neither
acts upon them. In fact, it seems that Scott and Rachels friend/agent
Piper might have a future together. This is a secondary consideration
as Robert comes closer and closer, his campaign of terror escalating to
physical threats. Will Scott be able to save Rachel?
Those who shy away from inspirational novels will not find that element
to be emphasized herein. Though the characters rely on prayer to help
them get through the difficult times, and there are strong spiritual elements,
those are not the main focus of the story. It is a fast read, one that
should appeal to all suspense fans.
