A
Lindsey Dyson Mystery
"Dying
For Charisma"
Calley Moore
Four
women, four suicides, four open and shut cases. No front page news there.
But the connection is just to much for investigative reporter Lindsey
Dyson to ignore. Each of the women were top executives for a major fashion
company, each were young and had a lot to live for. So why would they
take their own lives? As the possibility of murder adds up Lindsey and
her partner, Roger Pitman, are sent on a chase for clues, evidence, and
most of all, the truth. Wrapped in a web of secrets and surrounded by
doubt, as their investigation unravels can Lindsey prevent herself from
becoming the front page headline of the next edition of the Midland Press?
Reviews:
Lindsey Dyson
gives new meaning to the words "girl power!" She'll do anything
to get to the bottom of a case, and won't take no for an answer!
***** 5 Stars (Worth an all-nighter) Lisa's Book Reviews
Ms. Moore has penned a pleasant mystery with likeable characters. For
a quick, entertaining read, pick up Dying For Charisma.
Lyn Morgan, Ivy Quill Reviews
Lindsey Dyson is a quirky, perky woman, married to a supportive husband,
who will let nothing stand in her way of making a story front page news.
Her quick wit and banter with her boss, Ollie (really Oliver) of the Midland
Press sends her running from the pressroom sidestepping the daggers tossed
by her boss. Her father, while trying to be the perfect Police Chief,
slyly passes hints to his daughter after the police have their cases closed.
The villains in the story are your average villain, one you will distrust
and hate.
Dying for Charisma
is Calley Moores third Lindsey Dyson Mystery. If the first two are
anything like this one, they are definitely books to read and cherish.
Thanks Calley for such a fun read!

I found DYING FOR CHARISMA to be a fast, compelling read. The murderer
is typical, but the final scene takes a twist that I did not see coming.
It certainly would be an excellent cozy mystery, best if you curl up with
a hot drink on a cold rainy day.

Moore has designed both a fascinating and entertaining story with which
to house her realistic characters.

About the Author:
From the first day
I can remember knowing how to read I have always had a book in my hand.
For me there is nothing that can compare to escaping to a fictional world
of excitement and intrigue. It was in Junior High School that my love
for reading broadened to a love for writing my own fictional worlds. As
an avid reader of young adult romances I began with what I knew.
I was a freshman in
high school when my parents realized my writing talent and encouraged
me to pursue my dream. They enrolled me in a correspondence course through
The Institute for Children's Literature. It was that course that taught
me the basics of writing a professional manuscript and opened the doors
to the publishing world for me.
Through the many obstacles
of life I ventured away from my writing time and again but I always returned,
determined to follow my dreams. In April 1999 those dreams finally came
true with the acceptance of my first young adult romance, "The Feud."
That book was released in June of the same year.
In March 2000 I decided
to try something new. I began writing mysteries for adults under my pen
name of Calley Moore. My first mystery, "Murderous Greed," is
the beginning of The Lindsey Dyson Mystery Series, followed by "The
Mystery Club" and "Dying for Charisma" with more soon to
come.
Currently I have eight
YA romances published---one of which, titled "Love Triangle"
is on the bestsellers, four mysteries for adults and once again I'm trying
something new with a venture into the adult romance world.
